Texas Legislature: in the waning hours of the 87th Texas Legislative Session, a bill that threatened our clients strategic interests was moving quickly through the legislative process. It passed the House Committee, House, and Texas Senate Committee (unanimously) and was being considered for a floor vote in the Senate. This is the point our client contacted us, with 10 days in the legislative session.
